- 1 pound of store bought pizza dough at room temperature
- 1 cup of marinara sauce divided
- 8 ounces of salami divided
- 1/4 cup of thinly sliced red onion divided
- 2/3 cup green olives cut in half and divided
- 1 pound of fresh mozzarella thinly sliced and divided (regular mozzarella works too)
- 2 cups of arugula divided
- Red pepper flakes (optional but necessary)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees
- Line two 18 inch rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Spray with avocado oil and then spread the pizza dough evenly as close to the end of each tray.
- Bake each pizza crust on the bottom rack for 10-12 minutes until golden brown on the bottom crust.
- Next, add marinara sauce and spread evenly over each crust. Then add salami, red onion, green olives, and fresh mozzarella. Divide ingredients evenly over both pizza crusts.
- Bake each pizza individually for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and begins to brown.
- Remove from oven, add chili flakes and arugula. Slice into squares, serve and enjoy!
