Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 pound of store bought pizza dough at room temperature
  • 1 cup of marinara sauce divided
  • 8 ounces of salami divided
  • 1/4 cup of thinly sliced red onion divided
  • 2/3 cup green olives cut in half and divided
  • 1 pound of fresh mozzarella thinly sliced and divided (regular mozzarella works too)
  • 2 cups of arugula divided
  • Red pepper flakes (optional but necessary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Line two 18 inch rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper. Spray with avocado oil and then spread the pizza dough evenly as close to the end of each tray.
  3. Bake each pizza crust on the bottom rack for 10-12 minutes until golden brown on the bottom crust.
  4. Next, add marinara sauce and spread evenly over each crust. Then add salami, red onion, green olives, and fresh mozzarella. Divide ingredients evenly over both pizza crusts.
  5. Bake each pizza individually for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and begins to brown.
  6. Remove from oven, add chili flakes and arugula. Slice into squares, serve and enjoy!
